Leave of Absence
Protected leave is available for various qualifying events under the Federal Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA) and Paid Leave Oregon (PLO). Leave of absences under FMLA and OFLA are paid by using your city-paid leave accruals. Leave of absences under PLO can be partially paid through the benefit available through the state of Oregon and you have the option to use your leave accruals.
