The Astoria Fire Department and the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal offer free smoke alarms to all single-family homes within the City of Astoria. We are not able to offer this program to multi-family dwellings or other jurisdictions. The Astoria Fire Department must install your new smoke alarm and you must sign a liability waiver.
If you need a smoke alarm please contact the Astoria Fire Department, located at 555 30th Street or call 503-325-2345 to confirm your eligibility. This program will remain active while smoke alarms supplies last.
The Astoria Fire Department would like to remind everyone to make sure that they have at least one working smoke alarm on each floor of their residence and to know and practice how to exit your home in case of an emergency. Also, identify a meeting place so you know that all of your family is safe.
