The Astoria Public Library Renovation Advisory Committee is comprised of nine members, appointed by the Mayor, who meet with the Library Director. The committee will meet with and advise the Library Director during the planning and construction phases of the library renovation project. Members of this committee will provide Library staff with valuable feedback from the community, and work to ensure that the "new" library will be an accessible and welcoming center for the community. 

The ad hoc committee will meet on a semi-regular basis, and will be disbanded once the renovation is complete.
