METHODS OF UTILITY PAYMENTS
The City of Astoria accepts payments in person, drop box, mail, online, automatic deduction from a checking
account, savings account, or credit card, EZ-Pay Program and by telephone.
IN PERSON
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
The City accepts cash, checks, Visa,
MasterCard and Discover.
DROP BOX
Available anytime – located outside the main entrance to City Hall at 1095 Duane Street.
BY MAIL
Send payments to City of Astoria, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria, OR 97103.
ONLINE PAYMENTS
• Through your bank - You may make payments through your own bank. Your bank will generate a paper check to
send to the City. Please note that payments made with this method may take 7-10 days to be received by
the City so please allow extra time.
• Through the City of Astoria website - You may make payments directly through the City’s website.
Payments made through the website will be posted immediately.

AUTOMATIC
Automatic Payments - Request that payments be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account or
charged to a credit card. Payments will be pulled on or about the 12th of the month payment is
due.
AUTOMATIC EZ PAY PROGRAM
The EZ-Pay Program is a method of payment that allows the City of Astoria to deduct your payment from a
checking or savings account. Payments will be pulled on or about the 8th of the month payment is due.
You may request that an EZ-Pay application be e-mailed or sent by regular mail to you or you may pick one up
in person for completion. A voided check needs to be returned with the application if payment is to be taken
from a checking account.

TELEPHONE PAYMENTS
• Electronic Check - The City accept payments over the phone with an electronic check (provide the 9-digit
bank routing number and the checking account number).
• Credit Card – The City can accept payment over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
