During the February 5, 2024, City Council Meeting, the Council officially adopted the City Council Work Plan 2023 - 2028. The work plan originated from the Astoria City Council's retreat held on May 12, 2023 and subsequent work followed directing the overall plan. The document communicates the priorities of City Council for the Astoria Community over the next 5 years. The five goal areas identified by City Council include: Preservation of Astoria's Unique Character, Livability and Quality of Life for Residents, A Thriving Local Economy, Resilience as a Community and Housing for All Astorians.

The Council Work Plan will be reviewed on a scheduled basis to track progress and to review priority tasks that need additional direction or amendments based on new information.
